About Us

BlogBostonSports aspires to be the most informative, entertaining, and well-rounded blog covering each of New England’s sports teams. We’ve grown tired of existing blogs that all re-hash the same information over and over again, giving you mindless game summaries and trite commentary. We strive to be better, all without taking ourselves too seriously. The goal is to provide insight into the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and Bruins, categorized accordingly, and presented in an interesting and informative way to become your one-stop source for Boston sports analysis. This sounds pompous and douchebaggy, so it will be changed, but for now you get the point.

Yeszir, AKA David , discovered his passion for the combination of Boston sports and the internet in 2004, when he launched Talksox.com. He launched Talkpats.com in 2007 and has plans to expand to all major Boston sports by 2009. His passion is the Red Sox but he also enjoys the Patriots and has a newfound appreciation for the Celtics. When asked “OK, fine, but if you HAD to pick a hockey team” he would reluctantly pick the Bruins, even though he has a very tenuous grasp of the icing rule. His best Boston sports memories include attending Game 5 of the 2004 ALCS, and watching Troy O’Leary hit a grand slam 1999. His worst are seeing Little waddle back to the dugout in 2003 and watching David Tyree’s helmet make the luckiest catch of all time amidst a crowd of confused Frenchmen at 5 am in a basement bar. He doesn’t want to talk about it. Yeszir posts under the moniker yeszir at Talksox and Talkpats.com.

ksushi, AKA Andy, is an avid baseball and football fan. Since all his friends in real life are too stupid to spell VORP, he spends his time on primarily on talksox.com and a select few other baseball forums to get his fill. Aspires to become a part-time baseball talent evaluator if he ever achieves his chief career goal of becoming a well-paid rich person. His first sports hero ever was Cam Neely, his current sports hero since 2003 has been Josh Beckett. Attending multiple games during the 2007 ALCS and WS ranks up there with his best sports memories along with Damon’s Game 7 Grand Slam and Brady’s drive in the ‘01 SB. Probably the most painful memory was Aaron Boone, but we don’t have to talk about it. Andy posts as Ksushi at talksox.com and talkpats.com
